Thanks for stopping by—whether you’re here for your first appointment or coming back for continued care, we’re glad you found us. Stride is a locally owned clinic in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, offering evidence-informed physical therapy, exercise-based rehab, and massage therapy that’s grounded in what matters most: you.

We work with people of all ages and activity levels—from athletes to desk workers, busy parents to weekend warriors—helping them feel heard, supported, and confident in their next steps. If you’re dealing with pain, injury, or just feel like something is holding you back, we’re here to help you make sense of it, build a plan that fits your life, and get moving again.

At Stride, our approach to rehabilitation is different. We believe that physiotherapy should go beyond just treating symptoms. Our philosophy is rooted in education, behaviour change, and building healthy habits that support long-term health. That means spending more time listening, explaining, and coaching you through strategies that put you in the driver’s seat of your recovery—not solely passive treatments.

We also offer specialized services including custom bracing, pelvic floor therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, and concussion care. Whether you’re looking for support with recovery, performance, or prevention, we’re here to help you move forward with confidence.

Use the booking options below to schedule an in-person or virtual appointment. If you’re not sure where to start, give us a call at 306-778-7770—we’re happy to talk things through and help you find the right fit.

The Physical Therapists at Stride Physio & Performance are trained to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal and movement-related conditions. Our goal is to help you move better, feel stronger, and recover with confidence. Whether you are dealing with pain, recovering from an injury or surgery, managing a chronic condition, or simply not feeling like yourself, our care is rooted in current research and tailored to your individual goals.

Our approach combines active rehabilitation strategies—such as individualized exercise programs, movement retraining, and behaviour change coaching—with symptom-relief tools when appropriate, including manual therapy, dry needling, and education. We focus on helping you not only recover from your current issue but also develop the knowledge and habits needed to stay well long-term.

We treat a wide range of concerns, including muscle and joint injuries, tendon pain, back and neck pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. In addition, our team offers specialized care in areas such as vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management, pelvic health, pre- and post-surgical recovery, and exercise support for individuals managing chronic health conditions.

Appointments are one-on-one with licensed professionals who take the time to understand your story, assess how your body moves, and work with you to create a meaningful treatment plan. In most cases, a referral is not required to see a physiotherapist. We also offer direct billing to many private insurance providers when available to help simplify the process for patients.

What to Expect at Your First Appointment
Your initial assessment includes a detailed conversation about your symptoms, health history, and goals, followed by a physical examination to understand how your body is moving and functioning. Based on these findings, your physiotherapist will discuss the likely causes of your symptoms, outline a treatment plan, and begin guiding you through the first steps of your rehabilitation.

Initial Assessments must be completed for new clients, for a new area of injury or pain, or if you have not attended the clinic for more than three months. This helps ensure your care plan is appropriate, safe, and tailored to your current needs.

Massage Therapy at Stride Physio & Performance focuses on helping people relax, move comfortably, and support their overall well-being through hands-on care. Our Registered Massage Therapists provide individualized treatments designed around your goals, preferences, and activity levels.

Massage therapy can be helpful for people who want to manage everyday muscle tension, support recovery from physical activity, or simply take time to relax and recharge. Treatments may involve a variety of techniques aimed at promoting comfort, improving circulation, and supporting normal movement of muscles and joints.

Many people choose massage therapy as part of their regular self-care routine, while others incorporate it alongside rehabilitation or exercise programs. At Stride, massage therapy can complement the care you receive from our physiotherapy and exercise therapy team when appropriate.

Direct billing to many private insurance providers is available, and a referral is typically not required to book an appointment.

What to Expect at Your First Appointment
Your massage therapist will begin by discussing your goals for the session and any preferences you may have regarding treatment areas or pressure. This helps ensure your treatment is comfortable and suited to what you are hoping to get out of the session.

Hey, I’m Terrell — a Resident Physiotherapist here at Stride Physio & Performance. I grew up in Maple Creek and completed my physiotherapy training at the University of Saskatchewan, including clinical placements in orthopedics, acute care, and community neurology. I also completed an honours research project in biomechanics, which really shaped the way I understand movement and rehab.

My approach is simple: no two people respond the same way, so your rehab plan should fit you, not just your injury. I enjoy working with all ages and conditions, and I want patients to know it’s completely normal to feel nervous starting therapy — we work through it together. You already have the tools you need to succeed; I’m here to help guide you along the way.

Outside the clinic, you’ll find me outdoors camping, hiking, or fishing — and I love to cook.

Hey, I’m Kelsey — a Registered Massage Therapist with over 10 years of experience supporting patients through pain, stress, injury, and big life transitions. I completed my training at the Western College of Remedial Massage Therapies in 2014 and have worked in a variety of physio, chiro, and multidisciplinary settings before joining the Stride team.

I’m passionate about making healthcare more approachable, especially when it comes to mental health and prenatal care. I love working with my prenatal patients and helping them feel supported, informed, and confident throughout pregnancy. I believe that the more you understand your body and your role in recovery, the better your outcomes will be — and I focus heavily on communication, education, and creating a comfortable treatment space.

Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find me with my family — walking the dog, hanging out with the kids, or enjoying a movie night.

Hey, I’m Taryn — a Physiotherapist here at Stride Physio & Performance. I grew up in Kamloops, BC, with summers split between Las Vegas and Irma, Alberta. I completed my undergraduate studies in Kamloops before earning my Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Saskatchewan. I’ve been practicing since 2021, and before that, I spent years working as a team trainer across hockey, football, lacrosse, and the WCBL.

I’m passionate about sports, movement, and learning — especially when all three come together. My approach is very hands-on in the clinic, paired with exercises to help you build confidence and take ownership of your recovery at home. Your comfort is always my priority, even when treatment gets challenging.

Outside of work, I love being active and getting creative with anything that keeps my hands busy — pottery, crochet, and pretty much anything I can make from scratch.
